Requirements
- Current certification as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
- Board Certified by the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA) or Board Eligible
- Active or eligible for Texas CRNA license
- Master's degree or Doctorate in Nurse Anesthesia from an accredited program
- Ability to work independently and make autonomous clinical decisions
- Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Current BLS and ACLS certification
Nice To Haves
- Regional anesthesia proficiency and experience (training provided for qualified candidates)
- Experience in independent CRNA practice settings
- Familiarity with a broad range of anesthetic techniques
- Previous experience in community hospital or ambulatory surgery settings
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive anesthesia services independently across a variety of surgical cases
- Perform pre-anesthetic assessments and develop individualized anesthesia care plans
- Administer general anesthesia, regional anesthesia, and monitored anesthesia care
- Monitor patient vital signs and adjust anesthetic levels throughout procedures
- Manage post-anesthesia recovery and ensure patient safety
- Collaborate with surgical teams to optimize patient outcomes
- Participate in light call rotation with competitive compensation
- Maintain accurate documentation and anesthesia records
