•$150,000 - $175,000•Onsite

About The Position

Waltzing Matilda Aviation LLC is hiring a CRJ200 Captain for its FAA Part 135 luxury shuttle operations based at Dallas Love Field, Texas. The captain must reside within a 1.5-hour call-out of the base. The aircraft is a Bombardier CRJ200 (CL-65) in a 30-seat VIP configuration. As Pilot in Command, the captain is responsible for the safe, efficient, and professional conduct of every flight under 14 CFR Part 135 and company operations specifications. The role leads the crew, makes operational decisions, and represents the flight department to high-net-worth clientele. The ideal candidate is CRJ200 type-rated with recent experience, a proven safety record, and a polished, welcoming hospitality approach. The position offers a flexible schedule, typically around 14 duty days per month (with a stated range of 12 to 20), and most trips are same-day out-and-backs, so pilots are home almost every night. Compensation is $150,000–$175,000 annually, commensurate with experience, plus an annual performance bonus and the ability to pick up additional trips. The captain conducts flight planning and safety assessments, leads crew briefings, monitors aircraft airworthiness and records, and ensures regulatory compliance. The role also includes personally welcoming guests, coordinating travel details with service partners, handling baggage and special items, maintaining discretion, and ensuring a clean, professional cabin and appearance. The captain mentors crew members, completes required training and checks, and supports the Director of Operations and Chief Pilot.
