About The Position

The Parking and Transportation team is seeking a Shuttle Operations Lead to manage on-the-ground operations for all Park & Ride routes on event days at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida. Events include Miami Dolphins and University of Miami Hurricanes games, the Miami Open, the Formula 1 Hard Rock Miami Grand Prix, soccer, concerts, and other events. This is a part-time, hourly, seasonal position based on site and pays $25 per hour.

Requirements

High school diploma required.
Ability to anticipate needs and challenges and adapt as needed.
Ability to commit to 80% of Hard Rock Stadium events, including early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
Ability to stand for more than six hours and work outdoors in various weather conditions.

Nice To Haves

Customer service and event operations experience, at entry level or supervisory level, preferred but not required.
Fluency in Spanish is beneficial.

Responsibilities

Maintain knowledge of all queues and shuttle loading procedures.
Manage offsite ingress and onsite egress shuttle operations.
Control guest flow and counts, and distribute guests accurately among shuttle line queues.
Maintain consistent distribution for each loading zone based on shuttle quantity.
Confirm loading quantities based on bus capacity.
Assist with guest inquiries and resolve issues at the post.
Manage a team of bus loaders and way finders.
Delegate position locations within the assigned bus system and ensure all positions are filled.
Handle staff check-in and equipment distribution.
Ensure headrest covers are properly positioned on each bus seat.
Initiate bus decommissioning, including gathering GPS devices, signage, and headrest covers, under the direction of Route Supervisors.
Communicate professionally and effectively with guests and partners.
Ensure and maintain a safe environment for staff and guests.
