About The Position

ICU Float Floating to multiple ICUs including Trauma, Oncology, Cardiac / Heart and Vascular, Neurology, Medicine and COVID. We need strong, independent experienced nurses to float our ICUs. If we do not have ICU needs, they will be expected to float to our floors as a staff nurse. The nursing office staffs: Oncology, Neurology, Med Surg, Medicine, Trauma, Heart and Vascular and COVID. Ratio: 2:1 on ICU's for all shifts. Will float to inpatient floors when needed with ratio of no more 1:3. Will float to inpatient floors if needed, float to non-critical care units if census is low in ICU, and may be asked to utilized as a patient sitter if needed. Every other weekend requirement with a minimum of 6 weekend shifts per 6 week schedule; plus holiday rotation. Special Procedures/Unit Details: Floating to multiple ICUs including Trauma, Oncology, Cardiac / Heart and Vascular, Neurology, Medicine and COVID. Does not require specific CVICU experience.

Requirements

• BCLS, ACLS and NIH required
• Vents, IV start, Tele, Conscious Sedation required
• 2 years ICU experience required
• Minimum of 1 year CV ICU experience required
• Will not accept first time travelers

Nice To Haves

• Cardiac Skill Set: Swans-hemodynamic interpretation IABP, Impella, ECMO Vasoactive drips CRRT
• Chemo, CCRN, ONS, TNCC, CPI preferred
• Triage, ICP, PA lines, Level 1 Trauma Experience preferred
• Past EPIC experience preferred
