About The Position
Bayview Physicians Group is seeking high-quality and compassionate Advanced Practice Providers (NPs or PAs) to join their dynamic critical care team in Southeast, Virginia. The role involves providing comprehensive, longitudinal patient-centered care in an inpatient setting, collaborating with an experienced multidisciplinary team. Opportunities are available in Virginia Beach, Chesapeake, Norfolk, and Suffolk.
Requirements
- NPs or PAs
- High-quality and compassionate
- Experience with critical care patients
- Ability to diagnose and manage critically ill patients
- Proficiency in developing and implementing evidence-based treatment plans
- Skilled in ordering and interpreting laboratory tests, imaging studies, and diagnostic evaluations.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in an independent, multi-specialty, physician-led group.
- Familiarity with EPIC EMR system.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive, longitudinal patient-centered care in an inpatient setting while collaborating with an experienced multidisciplinary team.
- Perform comprehensive patient histories, physical examinations, and clinical assessments.
- Diagnose and manage critically ill patients with respiratory illness, sepsis, shock, multisystem organ failure, trauma, and other life-threatening conditions.
- Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans, including medications management and hemodynamic support.
- Order and interpret laboratory tests, imagine studies, and diagnostic evaluations.
