Crisis Support Worker-On Call
About The Position
We are looking for an on-call Crisis Support Worker to add to our team! This position is an on-call position with shifts available Monday-Thursday. The average hourly rate is $14.00 (including wage, incentives, bonuses, overtime, shift differential, etc.). You are allowed a maximum of 30 hours a week. The shift begins at 5pm. However, your schedule is flexible, and you get to pick the days of the week that best work for you. Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent is required.
- Must be compassionate, eager to learn, and want to help children in times of crisis.
- Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively.
- Must have a desire to help children grow, learn, and build healthy coping skills.
- Must have a strong desire to advocate for children!
- Must complete a Predictive Index Assessment.
Nice To Haves
- Previous work experience demonstrating competency in a role serving children and families preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assist with children after hours.
- Transporting a child to their new foster home.
- Helping a child in moderate crisis.
- May be asked to be with a child in a hospital or any of our numerous offices in the area.
