About The Position

This is an on-call position for a Crisis Support Worker to assist children after hours. Responsibilities include transporting children to new foster homes or helping children in moderate crisis. Support Workers may be required to be with a child in a hospital or at one of the company's offices. The position allows for a maximum of 30 hours per week, with shifts starting at 5 pm. The schedule is flexible, allowing the employee to choose their days. This role is ideal for individuals seeking part-time work and experience in the child welfare field.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous work experience demonstrating competency in a role serving children and families preferred.
• Compassionate, eager to learn, and wants to help children in times of crisis.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
• Desire to help children grow, learn, and build healthy coping skills.
• Strong desire to advocate for children.
• Complete a Predictive Index Assessment.
