About The Position

This is an on-call position for a Crisis Support Worker to assist children after hours. Responsibilities include transporting children to new foster homes or helping children in moderate crisis. Support Workers may also be asked to be with a child in a hospital or at one of the company's offices. The company provides a company car, cell phone, and computer. This position is ideal for individuals seeking part-time work and experience in the child welfare field.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous work experience demonstrating competency in a role serving children and families preferred.
• Compassionate, eager to learn, and wants to help children in times of crisis.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
• Desire to help children grow, learn, and build healthy coping skills.
• Strong desire to advocate for children.
• Complete a Predictive Index Assessment.

Nice To Haves
