About The Position

Global Researchers conduct a variety of international background checks on behalf of clients’ applicants in more than 245 countries. Checks may include employment, education, criminal record, credit, professional licensing, and directorship verification. The role provides opportunities to use international education and experience while interacting with people and learning about other countries. Fluency in a language besides English is preferred but not required; bilingual candidates are strongly desired, especially those proficient in French.

This is a full-time, on-site position in Warminster, Pennsylvania. Available schedules are 6:00 AM–2:00 PM, 7:00 AM–3:00 PM, or 8:00 AM–4:00 PM. The position pays $16.00 per hour. Candidates must have at least a high school diploma or equivalent. All candidates are subject to drug testing and background screening.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent verbal, written, telephone, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple tasks or projects.
• Strong prioritization, research, and time-management skills, with the ability to work independently.
• Ability to maintain confidential and time-sensitive information.
• Schedule flexibility to accommodate the needs of international vendors and clients.

Nice To Haves

• Fluency in French or another language besides English, including the ability to speak and read/translate for business purposes; French proficiency is especially desired.
• International education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Verify background information for employment and applicant screening purposes by phone, mail, or email, which may involve contacting vendors and using vendor databases.
• Conduct daily checks that may include education and employment verifications, references, court or police records and clearances, credit checks, government databases, and motor vehicle records.
• Follow up with vendors to ensure research requests are completed within the estimated turnaround time.
• Coordinate with internal research and support departments regarding country-specific documentation and search procedures.
• Work with the coordinator to maintain high levels of client satisfaction, turnaround time, and quality for international services.
• Work with research areas to support efficient international research.
• Assist in establishing procedures and work instructions and implementing international vendor searches.
• Follow corporate security policies and procedures and safeguard client and corporate data and resources.
