About The Position
Taco Time NW is hiring a Crew Member in Seattle. The company seeks friendly, energetic, outgoing, and confident team members who are committed to guest service and providing a high-quality dining experience. The hiring process is completely virtual and is described as taking about 15 minutes. Crew Members prepare and cook food according to recipes and the company operators manual, maintain safe food handling and storage practices, understand the menu, and help serve orders while attending to guests’ needs. Requirements
- Food handlers permit.
- Commitment to quality customer service and ability to work with a team.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills and ability to listen attentively to guests and team members.
- Ability to demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness and look for ways to improve and promote quality.
- Basic math skills.
Responsibilities
- Wash and prepare raw food ingredients, following printed recipe cards or the company operators manual.
- Operate power-driven machinery to prepare food ingredients.
- Cook, sauté, boil, and fry food products.
- Ensure food is cooked, reheated, cooled to safe temperatures, dated, rotated, and stored according to health regulations.
- Demonstrate a complete understanding of the menu.
- Assist with serving orders and attending to guests’ needs.
