About The Position

Boulevard Cinema is seeking friendly and helpful crew members to create a welcoming environment for customers. Crew members will work in various areas including Concession, Box Office, and Usher, performing key duties for each. The company offers perks such as free movies for employees and their families and flexible hours. Training is provided for all functions to better serve the customer.

Requirements

Available to work Theater Hours which include evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Regular and consistent attendance.
Ability to communicate with all ages, genders, and personalities.
Ability to effectively and regularly converse in and comprehend in English.
Ability to stand for extended periods of time and to move quickly for sales rush before the start of a movie.
Ability to occasionally lift and clean popcorn kettles, warmers, butter machines, hot dog and other food preparation and drink equipment.
Strong verbal and interpersonal skills.
Accurate cash handling and math skills.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must complete a Safe Alcohol Service training program and meet the age requirement for alcohol service as well as Food Handler's certification.
Due to the nature of the Theatre Industry, team members may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the Theatre. Work schedules will include working on holidays, weekends, evenings and alternate shifts.

Responsibilities

Greet guests in a welcoming manner.
Sell tickets, explain reserved seating, and provide showtime information.
Guide guests to their theater locations.
Process ticket transactions.
Recommend snacks and beverages to guests.
Prepare food and drinks.
Operate the register, process payments, and make change.
Safely operate cooking, warming, and popcorn equipment.
Clean auditoriums after showings, sweep aisles, wipe surfaces, and pick up trash.
Maintain restrooms and common areas, and restock supplies.
Watch for safety or security issues (trip hazards, lighting, suspicious persons, etc.).
Perform each duty as assigned in areas of Concession, Box office, and usher.
Handle payment transactions and make change.
Other duties as assigned.
