About The Position

As a Front of House Crew Member for Traditions Hospitality Group at IHOP, you will provide excellent customer service and help ensure a positive dining experience for guests. The role involves welcoming guests, taking and processing orders, supporting food preparation and takeout packaging, maintaining the dining area, and coordinating with kitchen staff. Crew Members are expected to handle guest feedback professionally, follow food safety and sanitation standards, and work collaboratively with the team. The position offers training, mentorship, and opportunities for professional growth.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
Must be able to pass a background check.
Must be able to obtain a gaming license, if applicable.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift and carry trays of food and beverages.

Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly and provide excellent customer service throughout their dining experience.
Take orders accurately and efficiently using the POS system.
Handle cash transactions and ensure payment accuracy.
Assist with food preparation, including assembling orders and packaging takeout items.
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the dining area by wiping tables, sweeping floors, and restocking supplies.
Communicate with kitchen staff to support timely and accurate order fulfillment.
Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally and promptly.
Uphold food safety and sanitation standards.
Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment.
