Requirements

  • Associate’s degree in business or a related field
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in financial services, with exposure to credit reporting, consumer complaints, or regulatory compliance strongly preferred
  • A self‑starter mindset with the ability to independently exercise sound judgment while working within established policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain findings, document investigations clearly, and collaborate effectively with internal partners
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and stay organized in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment
  • A positive, solution‑oriented attitude and willingness to roll up your sleeves to help teammates and support shared outcomes
  • Proficiency in Portuguese and Spanish (required)

Responsibilities

  • Research, investigate, and resolve customer complaints and credit reporting disputes and received through multiple channels, including phone, written correspondence, and eOSCAR
  • Partner with subject matter experts across the organization to research issues, validate findings, and drive effective resolution
  • Communicate with customers by phone and in writing to gather relevant information, explain findings, and provide timely status updates and resolutions
  • Accurately document disputes and complaints throughout the lifecycle, maintaining complete and well‑organized records to support regulatory compliance and audit requirements
  • Identify and escalate complex cases, emerging risks, or adverse trends to management in a timely manner
  • Ensure ongoing compliance with applicable federal and state laws and regulations, including FCRA, ECOA, UDAAP, Fair Lending, and other consumer protection requirements; remain current on regulatory developments and industry best practices
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
