Requirements

Associate’s degree in business or a related field
Minimum 3+ years of experience in financial services, with exposure to credit reporting, consumer complaints, or regulatory compliance strongly preferred
A self‑starter mindset with the ability to independently exercise sound judgment while working within established policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain findings, document investigations clearly, and collaborate effectively with internal partners
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and stay organized in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment
A positive, solution‑oriented attitude and willingness to roll up your sleeves to help teammates and support shared outcomes
Proficiency in Portuguese and Spanish (required)

Responsibilities

Research, investigate, and resolve customer complaints and credit reporting disputes and received through multiple channels, including phone, written correspondence, and eOSCAR
Partner with subject matter experts across the organization to research issues, validate findings, and drive effective resolution
Communicate with customers by phone and in writing to gather relevant information, explain findings, and provide timely status updates and resolutions
Accurately document disputes and complaints throughout the lifecycle, maintaining complete and well‑organized records to support regulatory compliance and audit requirements
Identify and escalate complex cases, emerging risks, or adverse trends to management in a timely manner
Ensure ongoing compliance with applicable federal and state laws and regulations, including FCRA, ECOA, UDAAP, Fair Lending, and other consumer protection requirements; remain current on regulatory developments and industry best practices
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
