About The Position

Bond Vet is hiring a Credentialed Veterinary Technician (LVT/CVT/RVT) to provide primary and urgent veterinary care in its Long Island City clinic. The role supports patient care and client relationships while working alongside veterinarians, veterinary assistants, a remote nurse team, and medical leadership. Technicians are encouraged to practice at the top of their license in a collaborative, technology-enabled clinic environment. The position includes flexible scheduling, schedules published at least one month in advance, and opportunities to participate in monthly educational events. The team uses innovative technology, including AI-assisted tools and the Apple Vision Pro, to reduce administrative work and enhance patient care. Compensation is listed at $27–$40 per hour, with shift differentials, team-based profit sharing, and an eligible sign-on bonus.

Requirements

At least 1 year of experience as a veterinary technician.
Independent, unrestricted, valid authorization to work in the United States for any employer and ability to accept new employment; employment-based visa sponsorship and F-1 STEM OPT facilitation are not available for this position.

CVT, RVT, LVT, or LVMT credential preferred.

Responsibilities

Handle patients and provide husbandry.
Educate clients and partner with them in their pets’ care.
Provide surgical and dental nursing, including anesthesia management.
Manage diagnostics and administer medications.
Respond to emergency triage situations.
Maintain detailed medical records.
Run appointments alongside veterinary assistants.
Collaborate with veterinarians and nurses across the region and participate in monthly educational events.
