About The Position

VeeFriends is seeking a creative social media content creator to make engaging content featuring its characters, comics and collectibles. The Creator Resident will develop original content and recurring series, grow the audience, and create across graphic design, video, and copywriting/storytelling. The role encourages bringing personal ideas, experimenting with formats, and tailoring content to platforms and audiences. Candidates may specialize in one creative area while remaining comfortable working across all three.

The residency begins with three months, followed by a review of the resident’s work and fit. A successful review may lead to a six-month extension, with the opportunity to be considered for a full-time role afterward. Extensions and full-time offers are not guaranteed.

Requirements

• Strong creative instincts and the ability to create the content envisioned.
• Hands-on skills in graphic design, video creation/editing, and copywriting/storytelling, with strong capability in at least one and openness to working across creative formats.
• Genuine interest in social media, daily use of platforms, experience building personal accounts, and understanding of how content differs across platforms.
• Initiative to identify opportunities and follow through without constant direction.
• Openness to feedback, collaboration, and learning new skills.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of and enthusiasm for comics, fictional characters, collectibles, and trading cards.

Responsibilities

• Develop original content ideas and recurring series that connect people to VeeFriends.
• Turn ideas into finished social content, working independently and collaborating with other creatives when needed.
• Create and publish daily, maintain an organized content calendar, and tailor posts to each platform.
• Manage platform engagement and interact with followers and fans in comments and replies.
• Suggest updates to social strategy based on trends, performance, and audience feedback.
• Track results and share what is working, what is not, and what to try next.
