TubeScience•Los Angeles, CA
•$90,000 - $110,000•Hybrid

About The Position

TubeScience is seeking a Creator Lead to own strategy and execution for creator-led content—including UGC, self-tapes, and creator edits—across a portfolio of brands. This creative strategy role uses performance data and consumer, product, and competitor research to develop angles and messaging, then translates insights into creator briefs and scalable content execution. The Creator Lead is embedded in the creative process: prototyping ideas on camera, writing briefs, identifying and coaching creators, managing the content pipeline, and using performance results to guide iteration. The role supports a portfolio of 5–10 direct-to-consumer brands across categories such as beauty, wellness, food and beverage, pets, and apps. It is based in Los Angeles and requires regular in-person presence at TubeScience’s Arts District studio; the role is hybrid, with 2–3 days in the office.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience creating social media content and directing or coaching other creators.
  • Real performance marketing experience and a strong understanding of performance metrics, including hook rate and thumbstop, and how creative decisions connect to data.
  • Ability to perform on camera and shoot UGC-style content to prototype ideas and set a standard for the team.
  • Strong instincts for matching talent to creative briefs and a clear point of view on what makes a creator effective.
  • Ability to give creators clear, constructive feedback that improves their work without undermining their energy or authenticity.
  • Strong organization across multiple brands, creators, and briefs.
  • Deep familiarity with digital content culture, including trends and the distinction between authentic and forced content.
  • Clear communication skills, including translating performance data into creative direction and working with cross-functional partners and freelance creators.
  • Based in Los Angeles and able to attend the Arts District studio regularly.

Responsibilities

  • Own creator strategy for assigned brands, developing angles and messaging frameworks using proprietary performance data and consumer, product, and competitor research.
  • Translate strategic insights into repeatable creator briefs with clear, actionable direction tied to performance metrics and brand goals.
  • Own the execution pipeline for UGC, self-tapes, and creator edits across a portfolio of 5–10 direct-to-consumer brands.
  • Prototype creative approaches on camera by shooting proofs of concept before scaling ideas through the creator network.
  • Use performance data to guide content production, iterate on successful work, and discontinue approaches that are not working.
  • Drive fast, autonomous execution by turning around concepts, testing at volume, and iterating based on real-time performance.
  • Direct and coach creators, providing clear and constructive feedback that improves their work while preserving energy and authenticity.
  • Coordinate multiple brands, creators, and briefs, and communicate creative direction and performance insights to cross-functional partners and freelance creators.
