About The Position

The Joy Creator serves guests in person and over the phone, providing creative celebration solutions in a warm and welcoming bakery environment. The role supports the Crafting department, performs light cleaning and clerical duties, and helps maintain the bakery’s retail presentation and brand standards. No experience is necessary; training is provided. Compensation is $12.00–$13.00 per hour, with potential additional compensation such as performance bonuses and other perks. Candidates may be considered for additional compensation based on experience, drive, ability to learn quickly, and desire to improve.

Must be able to lift 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

Abide by all Nothing Bundt Cakes policies and procedures.
Uphold the company’s image and brand.
Keep the retail case stocked with Bundtlets, 8-inch and 10-inch cakes, and backup sample trays.
Maintain cooler par levels for case cakes, assorted Bundtini packs, and sample trays.
Fold cake boxes.
Welcome walk-in guests and provide bakery tour presentations.
Assist walk-in guests with orders and creative celebration solutions.
Suggest balloon sales and appropriate retail items, and upsell candles and cards.
Assist phone guests by placing incoming orders.
Help ensure brand standards are met.
Operate the point-of-sale system accurately and efficiently.
Gather guest email addresses.
Maintain strong knowledge of products, prices, and promotions.
Keep the retail area clean, swept, and neatly merchandised.
Dust retail surfaces, including countertops and point-of-sale stations.
Perform Crafting department duties, such as fluffing bows and making design pieces.
Assist other departments as needed.
Perform light cleaning and clerical duties.
