About The Position

The Senior Creative Strategist & Designer is a strategic, hands-on creative role responsible for transforming ideas, data, and product insights into high-performing visual content across e-commerce and digital channels. This role blends graphic design, AI-powered content creation, video production, and e-commerce expertise (Amazon-first) to develop compelling, conversion-driven creative. The ideal candidate is both a designer and a thinker—someone who can take minimal direction and independently concept, design, and execute best-in-class creative that drives engagement, traffic, and sales.

Requirements

  • Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
  • Experience with AI creative tools (image generation, layout tools, copy tools)
  • Deep understanding of Amazon creative best practices
  • Ability to translate complex information into clear, digestible visuals
  • Strong design fundamentals: layout, typography, hierarchy, storytelling
  • Experience with paid media creative (thumb-stopping, performance-driven design)
  • Video editing skills (Adobe Premiere, or similar) preferred
  • Highly self-directed with the ability to work from minimal briefs
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality execution
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • 3–6+ years of experience in digital design, content creation, or related field
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, design, film, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating: E-commerce (Amazon preferred), Ad creative, Visual storytelling, AI-generated or AI-assisted work
  • Experience in consumer brands, DTC, or e-commerce strongly preferred

Responsibilities

  • Design and optimize Amazon gallery images, A+ content, Premium A+, ads, and Brand Store assets
  • Translate product features, reviews, and insights into clear, compelling visual storytelling
  • Continuously improve listings through A/B testing and performance-driven design
  • Ensure all content is retail-ready, mobile-optimized, and conversion-focused
  • Use AI tools (image generation, layout tools, copy assistance) to create and iterate creative
  • Explore and implement new AI workflows to improve speed, quality, and output
  • Support light copywriting or use AI tools to generate and refine messaging
  • Design assets across: Amazon Paid ads (Meta, Amazon, retail media), Website & landing pages, Packaging, tradeshow, and retail signage (as needed)
  • Develop templates and systems to scale creative production across brands
  • Create and/or edit short-form video content for: Ads, Product education (Amazon, YouTube)
  • Collaborate on storyboarding and execution of video concepts
  • Take initiative to concept ideas without heavy direction
  • Translate rough ideas or minimal briefs into fully realized visual concepts
  • Interpret data (reviews, performance metrics, trends) into creative opportunities
  • Partner with internal teams to align creative with business goals and product strategy
