About The Position

Sans is on a mission to build the next great consumer hardware brand, with a laser focus on products that help people live healthier lives at home. They started with a category-leading air purifier before expanding to a best-in-class countertop water purifier, and their product roadmap is just getting started. They are a small, ambitious team that believes deeply in their ability to create a meaningful consumer brand, moving fast, learning quickly, and consistently outperforming much larger competitors. The Growth team plays a critical role in driving customer acquisition, revenue, and scalable growth across channels, accountable for developing and optimizing performance marketing strategies, creative, and experiments. The Junior Creative Strategist will support the execution layer of the creative operation across paid ads and other channels, helping concept and develop video ad scripts, build detailed creative briefs, and support the sourcing and management of content creators from outreach through final delivery. They will also assist in monitoring creative performance and translating insights into new creative ideas and directions. The role reports directly to the Creative Strategist and will work closely with the Video Editor, Digital Designer, agency partners, and content creators. The ideal candidate brings strong instincts for paid social ads and direct-response marketing, comfortable working across both creative strategy and execution, contributing ideas, supporting creator workflows, and helping analyze performance to identify what’s working, what’s not, and where to go next. They should bring a scrappy, proactive mindset and be excited to learn quickly in a fast-moving environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree and/or equivalent work experience in marketing, advertising, communications, or a related field
  • 1–3+ years of experience in copywriting, performance marketing, or creative strategy (internships or freelance work included)
  • Familiarity with performance marketing channels (e.g. Meta, YouTube, CTV) and how creative drives results
  • Experience contributing to creative testing (e.g. hooks, headlines, angles) and analyzing what’s working vs. not
  • Strong taste in direct-response creative and a willingness to be hands-on with writing and iteration
  • Analytical mindset – able to interpret performance and extract actionable creative insights
  • Scrappy and proactive – takes initiative, figures things out, and moves work forward independently
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills – able to work effectively across creative, growth, and external partners
  • Organized and detail-oriented – able to manage multiple workstreams and deadlines
  • Curiosity and eagerness to learn – excited to develop creative instincts and grow within a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

  • Concept and write high-performing video ad scripts for use across paid social channels
  • Build detailed creative briefs that provide creators with clear direction
  • Contribute new ad ideas by monitoring organic trends, customer insights, competitor activity, and performance data
  • Source and vet content creators aligned with Sans’ brand, target audience, and product categories
  • Manage creator outreach across hand-selected creators, creator marketplaces, and inbound inquiries
  • Track and follow up with creators throughout the full lifecycle—from product shipment to final content delivery
  • Serve as the primary day-to-day point of contact for creators, ensuring clear communication and timely delivery of assignments
  • Collaborate closely with our Creative Strategist and Video Editor to ensure creative execution is meeting standards
  • Write and iterate on ad copy across formats (e.g., headlines, primary text, static concepts) to support creative testing
  • Review and provide feedback on creative assets to ensure alignment with briefs, brand standards, and performance goals
  • Assist in the management of creative workflows within Asana and Air
  • Support the Creative Strategist in monitoring creative performance across paid channels, helping surface insights and patterns
  • Assist in translating performance observations into new creative concepts and learnings that inform future strategy
