About The Position

Ogilvy is seeking a Creative Resource Manager to oversee the workflow and manage the allocation of creative resources within the agency. This role involves collaborating with various teams to manage talent and workload, ensuring projects are matched with appropriate creative talent, and optimizing processes. The ideal candidate will be a master organizer, a team player with strong relationship-building skills, and a natural problem-solver who can set and adhere to business priorities in a fast-paced environment. This position is crucial for maintaining the agency's reputation for delivering award-winning work on time and within budget.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of agency experience in operations or a similar role.
  • Outstanding project management skills.
  • Natural communicator and negotiator.
  • Self-motivator who enjoys a fast-paced environment.
  • Solution-oriented, resourceful, meticulous, positive.
  • Working knowledge of all advertising media (TV, digital, out-of-home, design, etc.).

Nice To Haves

  • Ability to converse in both English and French is an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the CCO and Creative Leads to match upcoming projects with creative talent possessing the appropriate skill set.
  • Optimize processes in partnership with creative, account, and strategy leads.
  • Help maintain and build Ogilvy’s reputation for delivering award-winning work, on-time and on-budget.
  • Proactively identify issues and barriers that may compromise creative quality, deadlines, client relationships, or team spirit.
  • Lead and manage the agency’s creative awards submissions for international and local awards shows.
  • Build relationships with global Resource Leads to deliver on Ogilvy’s Borderless Creativity vision.
  • Assign and track work internally and externally.
  • Form healthy, positive, and nurturing relationships with each creative, helping them work through challenges, meet their goals, and grow.
  • Coordinate career conversations with the CCO, CDs, and People Team.
  • Anticipate freelance needs and proactively manage and build on a pre-existing network of contacts.
  • Prepare documentation approvals for all freelance hires.
  • Manage NDA documentation.
  • Assist in managing the production of new business presentations and materials as needed.
