Jerry.ai is seeking a Creative Lead, Lifecycle & Organic Growth to revolutionize how car ownership is managed. The company aims to simplify the complex and fragmented experience of car ownership through its app, making it more accessible. This role is crucial for shifting Jerry.ai's customer communication from transactional to value-additive and relationship-driven, ultimately building trust and community. The position involves hands-on copywriting for various channels, including email, SMS, in-app messages, and potentially social media, with the goal of creating an enduring brand presence and fostering customer loyalty.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in creative marketing with a focus on organic growth and a copy lean.
  • Proven track record with organic channels like email, SMS, and social.
  • Experience working with consumer brands.
  • A portfolio showcasing both writing and creative craft.
  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Ability to translate complex, dry, and stressful topics into engaging, human, and accessible copy.
  • Deep expertise in copywriting, audience development, and product positioning.
  • Understanding of the social media landscape and community dynamics (e.g., Reddit).
  • Ability to take qualitative data and user pain points and turn them into resonant, empathetic marketing copy.
  • Experience in fast-growing startups.
  • Ability to champion the unmeasurable value of a great brand experience.

Responsibilities

  • Overhaul existing customer communications across CRM, email, SMS, and in-app copy.
  • Transform messaging from functional and direct to value-additive and relationship-driven.
  • Collaborate with Product, Design, Growth, and Customer Insights teams to build trust and engagement.
  • Drive long-tail conversion through improved customer communications.
  • Expand scope to include driving customer growth and building brand affinity through other organic content (e.g., social media) as the tone of voice takes shape.
  • Craft compelling copy that makes customers feel something and take notice.
  • Define the brand's personality and voice across all organic surfaces in partnership with the CEO.
  • Write email campaigns, draft in-app tooltips, and engage with drivers on platforms like Reddit.
  • Build enthusiasm and trust around topics like insurance, maintenance, and safety.
