About The Position

Jerry.ai is seeking a Creative Director, Lifecycle & Organic Growth to revolutionize how car ownership is managed. The company aims to simplify the complex, fragmented, and time-consuming experience of car ownership through its app. The role focuses on transforming transactional messaging into value-additive, relationship-driven communication to build trust, engagement, and brand affinity. The Creative Director will be the voice of Jerry, crafting copy for various customer touchpoints and potentially expanding into other organic content creation as the brand voice takes shape.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in creative marketing with a focus on organic growth and a copy lean.
  • Proven track record with organic channels like email, SMS, and social.
  • Experience working with consumer brands.
  • A portfolio showcasing both writing and creative craft.
  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Ability to translate complex, dry, and stressful topics into engaging, human, and accessible copy.
  • Deep expertise in copywriting, audience development, and product positioning.
  • Understanding of the social media landscape and community dynamics (e.g., Reddit).
  • Ability to take qualitative data and user pain points and turn them into resonant, empathetic marketing copy.
  • Experience in fast-growing startups and ability to champion the unmeasurable value of a great brand experience.

Responsibilities

  • Overhaul existing customer communications, including CRM, email, SMS, and in-app copy, shifting messaging from functional and direct to value-additive and relationship-driven.
  • Understand how to build trust and engagement through messaging, working closely with Product, Design, Growth, and Customer Insights teams.
  • Drive customer growth and build brand affinity through producing other creative organic content, such as social media, as the tone of voice takes shape and lifecycle campaigns show success.
  • Define the company's personality and voice across all organic surfaces in partnership with the CEO.
  • Write email campaigns, draft in-app tooltips, and engage with drivers on platforms like Reddit.
