About The Position

Bree is a consumer finance platform focused on providing better, faster, and cheaper financial services to a significant portion of the Canadian population. Having participated in Y Combinator in 2021 and securing $2M in seed funding, Bree is experiencing substantial growth, marked by double-digit monthly increases and profitability. The company culture emphasizes high ownership, a bias for action, tenacious problem-solving, and continuous improvement. This role is for a high-impact Creative Lead, Growth who will be the central architect of Bree's performance engine. The position requires bridging high-level creative vision with rigorous data analysis, managing a team, and driving an 8-figure revenue. The ideal candidate is a blend of data-obsessed analyst, social media visionary, and master project manager.

Requirements

  • Strong instincts for what works in paid social, with the ability to identify and articulate improvements for weak hooks, generic concepts, and missed opportunities.
  • Ability to turn chaos into structure and build processes that enable consistent high-quality output.
  • Comfort working with performance data (Meta, TikTok, Motion, etc.) to guide decisions, with a mindset focused on hypotheses, testing, and iteration.
  • Operator mentality with extreme ownership, willing to perform tasks like editing, scripting, recording, or fixing bottlenecks as needed.
  • Non-traditional background, potentially from UGC, content creation, or performance marketing, with a strong intuition for conversion.
  • 2+ years of experience in performance creative, paid social, or content roles with a direct impact on metrics like CTR, CPA, or conversion rate.

Responsibilities

  • Own the weekly creative pipeline end-to-end, deciding on content, ensuring deadlines are met, and improving output quality through clear feedback.
  • Collaborate with the Media Buyer to translate performance data into creative direction, identifying successful patterns, diagnosing fatigue, and developing new concepts based on data signals.
  • Build and scale the creator engine by defining quality standards, improving creator selection, refining briefs, and implementing systems to enhance output quality while reducing costs and turnaround times.
  • Design and refine systems for the creative team, including briefing frameworks, naming conventions, tracking systems, and feedback loops to make performance insights actionable and repeatable.
  • Set the strategic direction for creative testing, reviewing and approving key outputs to ensure ads have strong hooks, clear angles, and well-defined hypotheses.
  • Establish feedback loops between performance and production, conducting post-mortems, identifying patterns in ad performance, and translating insights into actionable next steps for the team.
