About The Position

We are seeking a tech-forward, mid-career Creative Agency Project Manager to own our operational engine room. This role draws a clean line between Project Management and Account Management, enabling Account Managers to focus on strategy and client growth while you own project schedules, resources, and delivery. You will act as an operational architect with full backing from agency leadership to design processes, implement AI/automations, and maintain Basecamp as our central source of truth.

Requirements

• 3–5+ years of dedicated project management experience within a creative agency, branding boutique, or digital marketing agency.
• Competency utilizing Basecamp (or platforms like Monday.com/Asana) and Google Workspace.
• An explicit enthusiasm for software integrations, digital shortcuts, and leveraging AI technologies to optimize workflows.
• Outstanding written and verbal command; inherent comfort with introducing healthy urgency to internal teams, managing vendor expectations, and flagging scope creep.

Nice To Haves

• Experience building complex work breakdown structures with cascading task rules is a major plus.

Responsibilities

• Build meticulous project plans, track burn rates, and protect agency profit margins.
• Administer Basecamp, establish task dependencies, and integrate AI/automation tools to remove manual waste.
• Coordinate freelance contractors, manage daily tasking, and draft contractor Statements of Work (SOWs).
• Lead weekly internal huddles ("Team Therapy"), partner with Account Managers on quality control against creative briefs, and co-lead weekly client updates.
• Manage asset handoffs, QA workflows, and internal retrospectives for projects.
