About The Position

Ameristar is seeking an experienced Craps Dealer to deliver exceptional gaming experiences while adhering to gaming regulations and company standards. The dealer performs craps operations with precision, accuracy, and professionalism, communicates game rules to patrons, and ensures wagers and payouts are handled correctly. The position also requires developing proficiency in multiple table games and rotating through assignments as directed. Requirements

Must be at least 21 years of age.
Excellent customer service skills.
Ability to stand for extended periods for the majority of a shift.
Ability to bend and reach across a gaming table.
Ability to deal and collect playing cards.
Ability to obtain and maintain necessary licenses and/or certifications.

Nice To Haves

Six months of prior experience or completion of craps school is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

Conduct craps games in accordance with gaming regulations, company policies, and operational procedures.
Exchange currency for gaming chips in accurate denominations.
Maintain knowledge of and comply with applicable gaming regulations and company procedures.
Document gaming transactions and maintain accurate written records.
Calculate dice outcomes and payable odds, and settle winning wagers accurately and promptly.
Separate and organize gaming chips into specified amounts for payouts and collection.
Clearly communicate game rules and procedures to patrons.
Verify that wagers are properly placed before dice are released.
Complete required documentation, forms, and records accurately.
Develop proficiency in multiple table games, including seated and standing positions, and rotate through assignments as directed.
Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by management.
