About The Position

Cavalier Distributing is hiring an outside sales representative to sell craft beer and specialty beverages in an assigned Tallahassee territory. The representative works independently in the field for 40 hours per week and is responsible for sales, distribution, and product placement across new and existing retail accounts. Compensation is heavily performance-based, with commission tied to sales. Full-time benefits are available after 60 days.

Requirements

Basic understanding of the craft beer and beverage industry.
Excellent customer relations and communication skills.
Valid, unexpired driver's license, clean DMV record, and reliable transportation.
Ability to apply for and obtain a solicitor's license with the state.
Ability to handle products generally weighing 0–165 pounds, including bending and stooping for product rotation and merchandising.
Self-motivation, results orientation, and ability to manage work independently.
Ability to maintain a regular weekly appointment schedule, handle documentation, and process information efficiently.

Responsibilities

Manage and grow relationships with existing accounts and develop new business.
Visit customer accounts regularly and manage the workday independently.
Sell and expand Cavalier's product lines, ensuring products are placed and maintained.
Host beer tastings, dinners, and promotions to encourage customer interest and sales.
Manage the sales cycle, including preparing quotes, achieving monthly goals, providing customer service, and collecting payments on time.
Support seasonal product displays and store resets, and represent Cavalier at special events and festivals.
