CPP Operator (2nd Shift) - Ridgeway
About The Position
Isola is hiring a CPP Operator at its Ridgeway, South Carolina facility. The operator runs the Rosenthal machine, which converts prepreg rolls into sheets, and transfers fabricated prepreg sheets in a timely manner to prepare them for the tooling process. The assigned schedule is 1:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., Monday through Friday; overtime, extended shifts, and weekend work are required. Compensation is $19.75 per hour plus a $1.25-per-hour shift differential. Internal eligibility requirements are completion of the 90-day new-hire or newly transferred probationary period, no active disciplinary notices for behavior or performance, and no more than three attendance points.
Requirements
- Strong English verbal and written communication skills, including proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
- Ability to stand for up to 10 hours per shift, with frequent bending, reaching, and grasping.
- Ability to lift, pull, or push up to 50 pounds.
- Internal applicants must complete the 90-day new-hire or newly transferred probationary period, have no active disciplinary notices for behavior or performance, and have no more than three attendance points.
Nice To Haves
- Previous machine operating experience.
- Previous experience with work instructions, work orders, and SAP.
Responsibilities
- Set up prepreg rolls on the machine using a hoist.
- Operate the Rosenthal machine.
- Inspect prepreg sheets for quality.
- Return unused prepreg rolls to the staging area for restocking.
- Complete the Production and Scrap Report form.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
