About The Position

As an entry-level team member, the Courtesy Parking Lot Clerk performs a variety of retail tasks and additional store services related to products and customer service. Meijer Courtesy Team Members enjoy interacting with people and providing above-and-beyond customer service. The role involves supporting the service desk, store entrance, check lanes, parking lot, and multiple store departments. This job profile is not all-inclusive; other duties may be performed as assigned or required.

Requirements

Be highly organized and have a keen sense for details.
Have strong listening and communication skills.
Be able to lift, carry, push, pull, bend, and twist while handling products or using equipment.
Be able to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Ferry shopping carts from outside the store back to the store interior.
Coordinate and collect trash from the parking lot, lawn, and inside the store.
Safely use snow removal equipment to remove snow.
Handle perishable and salvage returns.
Perform basic store and restroom cleaning.
Work with the service desk, store entrance, check lanes, and parking lot areas.
Work with Health and Beauty Care, Hardlines, Fashion/Softlines, Pets, Hardware, Card and Party, Outdoor, Seasonal, and Floral departments.
Perform other duties as assigned or required.
