About The Position

As an entry-level team member on Meijer’s Courtesy Team, you will perform a variety of retail tasks involving store services, products, and customer service. The role involves interacting with customers and providing service that goes above and beyond. Duties may include other tasks as assigned or required.

Requirements

• Highly organized with a keen sense for details.
• Strong listening and communication skills.
• Able to lift, carry, push, pull, bend, and twist while handling products or using equipment.
• Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Ferry shopping carts from outside the store back into the store.
• Coordinate and collect trash from the parking lot, lawn, and inside the store.
• Safely use snow-removal equipment to remove snow.
• Handle perishable and salvage returns.
• Perform basic store and restroom cleaning.
• Work in the service desk, store entrance, checkout lanes, and parking lot areas.
• Work with the Health and Beauty Care, Hardlines, Fashion/Softlines, Pets, Hardware, Card and Party, Outdoor, Seasonal, and Floral departments.
• Perform other duties as assigned or required.
