About The Position
The Courtesy Clerk serves as a customer service ambassador at Sprouts Farmers Market, helping create an inviting experience for shoppers and team members. The role includes properly handling and bagging groceries, helping customers locate products, gathering carts from outdoors, and maintaining store cleanliness by sweeping and addressing spills. Courtesy Clerks are expected to be friendly, outgoing, and team-oriented, and to thrive in a fast-paced environment. The position can also provide opportunities to grow into other roles across the store.
Requirements
- Be at least 16 years of age.
- Be dependable and reliable.
- Demonstrate outgoing and friendly behavior.
- Have a positive attitude and the ability to interact with customers.
- Be able to work a flexible schedule that changes with business needs.
Responsibilities
- Handle and bag shoppers’ groceries properly while delivering extraordinary customer service.
- Help customers find products in the store.
- Gather carts from outdoors.
- Sweep and clean up spills.
- Follow all Front End procedures.
- Work closely with Team Members throughout the store.
