About The Position
Nob Hill is hiring a positive, passionate, and accountable Courtesy Team Member to perform a variety of front-end store tasks. The role includes bagging groceries, collecting shopping carts, assisting customers, and cleaning. Courtesy Team Members work at a fast pace, pay attention to detail, and help create a memorable customer experience. The position is part of the store team and supports the company’s vision to change the way the world eats, one plate at a time. The posting remains available year-round to build a talent pool and may not reflect current hiring needs. Applications may be kept on file if interviews are not being scheduled. Applicants must be at least 18 years old, or 16 years old with a valid work permit. Employees may occasionally experience physical demands for extended periods, including standing, sitting, lifting and stocking up to 50 pounds, pushing, keyboarding, telephone use, walking, and bending.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age, or 16 years of age with a valid work permit.
- Be friendly and customer-service oriented.
- Be self-motivated and attentive to detail, quality, and presentation.
- Communicate effectively with coworkers and customers.
- Work independently, manage time effectively, and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Read, understand, and follow verbal and written directions.
- Reliably meet the required work schedule and adhere to the company attendance policy.
Responsibilities
- Bag customers’ groceries neatly and orderly.
- Verify prices for cashiers when necessary.
- Collect shopping carts from the parking lot and assist customers with groceries to their cars.
- Maintain a cheerful and helpful attitude toward customers and other Team Members.
- Keep the store and restrooms clean and tidy.
- Assist with go-backs and accompany customers to locate items throughout the store.
