The Kenai Trial Court of the Alaska Court System is accepting applications for a Court Case Manager 1. This position will perform case processing duties and serve as a primary contact with the public. Employees transferring from another State of Alaska agency may receive consideration for advance step placement. Employees working in this job classification will be considered for annual salary increases upon successful completion of a 1-year probationary period. This job classification will promote to range 11 after successful completion of three years of service with the court. This position serves as the first point of contact for customers, providing professional, courteous, and efficient service while assessing customer needs, processing payments, maintaining accurate cash handling records, and ensuring a balanced cash drawer. The incumbent performs specialized case processing duties, develops expertise in assigned case types, and maintains accurate case records through regular audits and quality control measures. Cross-training is expected to support workflow, customer service, and team coverage across multiple case types. Additional responsibilities may include courtroom support, records management, inventory control, basic technology troubleshooting, staff training, and participation in special projects, meetings, and committees. The successful candidate must be able to multitask, maintain accuracy and attention to detail, exercise sound judgment, and remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment. This position is assigned to the court's classified service; the incumbent will attain regular status after completion of the initial probationary period.
