About The Position

McGill University is seeking a Course Lecturer for FACC 500 Technology Business Plan Design for the Fall 2026 term. This course is not team-taught and requires a Master's or Ph.D. in Engineering, or a Master's or Ph.D. in Management or Business Administration with a Bachelor's degree in Science or Engineering. The ideal candidate will also have experience as an entrepreneur, founding and/or launching start-up ventures, and be a member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec. The lectures will be held on Mondays from 05:35 pm to 08:25 pm in MAASS 328. McGill University is committed to equity and diversity and encourages applications from all qualified candidates. Requirements

  • Master's or Ph.D. in Engineering, OR Master's degree or Ph.D. in Management or Business Administration and a Bachelor's degree in Science or Engineering.
  • Experience as an entrepreneur, founding and/or launching start-up ventures.
  • Membership in Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec.
  • Authorized to work in Canada.
  • Willing to work in the province of Quebec at the campus where the position is based.
  • Proficient in English communication, both verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

  • Teach FACC 500 Technology Business Plan Design course.
  • Conduct lectures on Mondays from 05:35 pm to 08:25 pm.
  • Engage with students in an English-language academic environment.

Benefits

  • Salary: $11 824 (effective September 1, 2026)
