About The Position

McGill Institute for the Study of Canada Faculty of Arts McGill University is seeking a Course Lecturer for CANS 306, Topics in Indigenous Public Affairs (3 credits). The course is scheduled for Tuesdays and Thursdays from 08:35 am to 09:55 am, from August 31, 2026, to December 4, 2026, and will be held in MAASS 217. Requirements

  • Ph.D. with specialization in relevant areas.
  • Knowledge and teaching experience in Native culture, political organization, leadership, land claims, education and economic and business development.
  • Authorized to work in Canada.
  • Willing to work in the province of Quebec at the campus where the position is based/located.
  • English communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
