About The Position

McGill Institute for the Study of Canada Faculty of Arts McGill University is seeking a Course Lecturer for CANS 312: Disability, Technology, and Public Affairs. This course will analyze the evolution of disability rights in Canada from institutionalization to contemporary movements for justice, examining federal and provincial policy frameworks, with particular attention to Quebec's distinct approach. The schedule for the course is Fridays from 11:35 am to 02:25 pm, running from August 31, 2026, to December 4, 2026. The location is LEA 109. Requirements

  • Master’s Degree (PhD preferred)
  • Knowledge and teaching experience in Canadian disability rights policies
  • Authorized to work in Canada
  • Willing to work in the province of Quebec at the campus where the position is based / located
  • English communication skills, both verbally and in writing
