About The Position

Co-coordinator for the doctoral course: NUR2 730, Theory development in Nursing: Updating of course outline, materials, and MyCourses page for the students. Leads teaching activities by organizing and facilitating instructor- and student-led discussions. Organizes and grades course assignments. Meets with or holds advising sessions with students as needed. Submission of final student grades.

Requirements

  • PhD in Nursing
  • Experience teaching nursing students (as a lecturer or TA), preferably at the graduate level.
  • Previously taken the course NUR2 730 – Theory development in Nursing.
  • Demonstrates expert knowledge of theoretical developments in the field of Nursing.
  • Demonstrates a strong knowledge of both qualitative and quantitative research traditions.
  • Experience in leadership roles in the discipline of Nursing.
  • Authorized to work in Canada.
  • Willing to work in the province of Quebec.
  • English communication skills (verbal and written).

  • Preferably at the graduate level teaching experience.
