About The Position

McGill University is seeking a Course Lecturer for Information System Tools in Accounting, Subject Code: CACF 305 751. This position is located in TBD and will be held from July 20 - July 25, Monday - Saturday. The University may, at its discretion, assign the person of its choice to give this Course/Teaching. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Business Administration or Computer Science.
  • Member in good standing with the Order of Chartered Professional Accountants of Quebec (CPA designation).
  • Teaching experience in a university or corporate context.
  • Extensive, current and significant professional industry experience in cutting edge computer information systems design or implementation.
  • Extensive, current and significant professional industry experience in using accounting software, including Acomba for bookkeeping, inventory tracking and preparing financial statements.
  • Extensive, current and significant professional industry experience in using and teaching advanced Excel features including pivot tables, macro, and graphs.
  • Must be authorized to work in Canada.
  • Must be willing to work in the province of Quebec at the campus where the position is based / located.
  • Requires English communication both verbally and in writing.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in using an ERP.
