About The Position

The Department of History and Classical Studies is inviting applications to teach CLAS 308 - Gender in the Ancient World in fall 2026. This course is an exploration of gender roles in the Ancient Mediterranean world. The course will be taught in-person by one instructor. Requirements

  • PhD or ABD in Classics or related field required.
  • Must be authorized to work in Canada.
  • Must be willing to work in the province of Quebec at the campus where the position is based / located.
  • Requires English communication both verbally and in writing.

Nice To Haves

  • Expertise in both Greek and Roman culture, literature, or history preferred.
  • Teaching experience in Classics at the University Level preferred.
