About The Position

The Peter Guo-hua Fu School of Architecture at McGill University is seeking applications for a Course Lecturer position for the Fall 2026 term. This role is for ARCH 445 / Architectural Structures 2, a 3-credit course. The appointment is from August 31 to December 31, 2026. The position is located at MDHAR 212 and the schedule is MW 08:35 am-09:55 am. Requirements

  • Appropriate technical, digital and/or critical, theoretical expertise required for the course.
  • Recognized expertise in structural engineering and construction.
  • B.Eng. / M.Eng. (first professional degree).
  • Professional practice (active and ongoing participation in structural engineering practice with strong architectural association).
  • Post-secondary teaching experience in architecture.
  • Authorized to work in Canada.
  • Willing to work in the province of Quebec at the campus where the position is based / located.
  • English communication skills, both verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

  • Teach ARCH 445 / Architectural Structures 2 for the Fall 2026 term.
