About The Position

The Peter Guo-hua Fu School of Architecture at McGill University is seeking applications for 2 Course Lecturer positions for the Fall 2026 term. The course, ARCH 303 / Introduction to Building Environments, is a 6-credit course focusing on the design of buildings, emphasizing social, technological, environmental, and symbolic aspects of the design process. It introduces specific modeling, presentation, and documentation techniques through discussions, readings, field trips, and practical exercises. Requirements

  • M. Arch. or equivalent (first professional degree).
  • Professional practice and/or postsecondary teaching experience in architecture.
  • Appropriate technical, digital and/or critical, theoretical expertise for the course.
  • Active in the profession.
  • Authorized to work in Canada.
  • Willing to work in the province of Quebec at the campus where the position is based.
  • English communication skills, both verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities
