About The Position

Amentum is seeking a Course Coordinator in San Antonio, TX, to provide front-line, non-technical support for web-based and instructor-led training courses. The Course Coordinator will be part of a collaborative multidisciplinary Team delivering highly sophisticated, technical, hands-on training solutions to meet the mission and time-critical needs of our customers. The courses being supported are active from 0800-1700 M-F. Contract core hours are 1000-1400.

Requirements

  • Available to work overtime during critical peaks and available to meet last minute requests for overtime should the situation occur.
  • Able to create and edit all required course reports (to include daily, weekly, monthly, end-of-course, course readiness, progress, exam, and final reports).
  • Use multiple word processing and presentation tools such as MS Word, MS Excel, and PowerPoint, etc.
  • Able to roster students to new courses and set up required student accesses.
  • Monitor student progress: Document, track, analyze and create reports as required by the COR.
  • Maintain detailed administrative records of student data.
  • Proctor high-stakes exams to ensure exam and student integrity.
  • Collaborate with multiple team members as applicable to ensure accuracy of learning content and address student-specific issues.
  • Bachelor's degree in education, English, Communications, a technical discipline, or a directly related field plus two (2) years of relevant experience. In lieu of a Bachelor’s degree, an additional 4 years of work experience (for a total of six (6) years of experience) can be substituted for the degree requirement.
  • 2 years of experience working in the analysis, design, development, implementation/delivery, and/or evaluation of training OR 3 years of experience working in an administrative support role.

Responsibilities

  • Assists students with any administrative questions or issues they may have.
  • Proctors high-stakes exams.
  • Serves as a liaison between the students, staff, and the customer.
  • Creates daily, weekly, monthly, end-of-course, and on the spot reports for the customer.
  • Acts as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) on the student experience, which includes addressing student concerns, tracking student progress, analyzing student data, monitoring high-stakes exams to ensure exam and student integrity, and updating and maintaining course-related documentation.
  • Provides administrative support to students taking an independent learning, web-based cyber training.
  • Provides feedback for developing and updating course content, exercises, exams, resources, and other documentation as needed.
  • Provides first-line non-technical support for students attending locally and at remote sites.
  • Creates and edits all required course reports (to include daily, weekly, monthly, end-of-course, course readiness, progress, exam, and final reports).
  • Rosters students to new courses and sets up required student accesses.
  • Monitors student progress: Documents, tracks, analyzes and creates reports as required by the COR.
  • Maintains detailed administrative records of student data.
  • Proctors high-stakes exams to ensure exam and student integrity.
  • Collaborates with multiple team members as applicable to ensure accuracy of learning content and address student-specific issues.
  • Enforces a safety culture whereby all employees have the responsibility for continuously developing and maintaining a safe work environment.
  • Completes all training requirements and fulfills all self-aid/buddy aid responsibilities, participating in emergency response tasks and serving on safety committees and teams.
  • Conforms to the Amentum Quality Policy and carries out job activities in compliance with applicable Amentum Quality System documents and customer contracts.
  • Reads and understands his/her Quality Management and Customer Satisfaction responsibilities.
  • Reads, understands and implements the general and specific operational, safety, quality and environmental requirements of all plans, procedures and policies pertaining to his/her job.
