Requirements

HS diploma/GED
4 years experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or Bachelor’s degree with 1 year of experience.
Valid NYS Driver’s license.

Responsibilities

Assist the Director for Day Services Operations, the Assistant Director of Day Community Opportunities Program and the county Day Habilitation Coordinator in the delivery of the Day Community Opportunities Program (DCOP) services to all county participants.
Management and/or administration of all program specific systems, policies and procedures.
Supervision of Day Opportunities Specialists (DOS).
Be a positive role model for the individuals supported and co-workers.
Be a diligent and accurate record keeper.
Offer constructive guidance as needed.
Attend and support all agency and department trainings.
Be an effective communicator due to the need to interact frequently with families and high visibility in the community.
