About The Position
Perform work pertaining to assembly and fabrication of electrical, electronic, or mechanical components or equipment. Operate mechanical machinery and calibrate equipment, power tools, and electronic tooling. Apply specific functional knowledge as well as working and general industry knowledge. May assist in the development of solutions to problems of moderate scope and complexity. Work under general supervision. May provide guidance for less experienced team members.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience with Navy Maritime Systems
- Knowledge of engineering, mechanical, and electrical assemblies
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and documentation
- Ability to work independently
- Secret clearance
- HS diploma or GED
Nice To Haves
- Experience with manned and unmanned underwater systems
- Knowledge of Navy underwater unmanned systems
- Ability to conduct detailed electrical and mechanical assemblies
- Top Secret clearance
- Associate's degree
