About The Position

Johnstone Supply is hiring a full-time Counter Sales employee at its Gaithersburg, Maryland location. The Counter Sales employee serves as the face of the company to customers and provides product expertise and assistance to HVAC contractors. The role involves entering customer orders into the point-of-sale system, pulling orders for carryout or delivery, and building trusting relationships with customers. The position offers an opportunity to learn more about the HVAC/R trade in a family-focused, team-oriented environment.

Requirements

• Knowledge of HVAC products.

Responsibilities

• Assist HVAC contractors who call or visit the storefront and provide product knowledge and expertise.
• Enter customer orders into the point-of-sale system.
• Pull orders for carryout or delivery.
• Develop and maintain customer relationships built on trust.
• Help business customers meet their clients’ needs.
