About The Position

As a Counter Sales Representative at Graybar, you serve as a key face-to-face contact for customers. You sell merchandise to walk-in customers and service will-call pickup orders, while developing product expertise and helping customers identify products that meet their needs. You learn Graybar’s products through self-study, training classes, and on-the-job learning. The position also involves arranging and maintaining merchandise in the counter area and actively working in the warehouse. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The expected pay rate is $18.19 per hour. Steel-toed boots are required. Requirements

Enthusiasm for customer service.
Ability to communicate well with customers and understand their needs.
Ability to perform the physical requirements of working in a warehouse environment.
Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment and properly use personal protective equipment (PPE).
Steel-toed boots are required.
