About The Position

As a Counter Sales Representative, you are a key face-to-face contact for customers. You sell merchandise to walk-in customers and service will-call pickup orders, while developing product expertise and helping customers identify products that meet their needs. You learn Graybar’s product range through self-study, training classes, and on-the-job learning. The role also involves maintaining merchandise in the counter area and being active in the warehouse. The stated schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The expected starting pay rate is $20.00 per hour, depending on experience.

Requirements

• Enthusiasm for customer service.
• Ability to communicate well with customers to understand their needs.
• Ability to perform the physical requirements necessary to work in a warehouse environment.
• Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment and properly use personal protective equipment (PPE).

• Two or more years of experience preferred.
