About The Position

Ocean Downs Casino is seeking a Count Team Attendant for a full-time, year-round hourly position. The role supports Count Room operations by sorting, counting, recording, and verifying currency and related documentation while complying with State Lottery Regulations and company internal controls. The attendant also contributes to an entertaining guest environment and promotes excellent customer relations, honesty, and trust within the team. Pay is $19.28 per hour.

Requirements

• Previous money-handling experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read, write, speak, understand, or communicate in English sufficiently to perform the position's functions.
• Ability to comprehend, retain, and carry out written, verbal, and demonstrated directions, explanations, and guidance.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and communicate effectively with guests, coworkers, and management.
• Must obtain and maintain a license issued by the Maryland State Lottery Agency, as required of gaming establishment employees.
• Ability to lift 40 pounds repeatedly without difficulty.
• Ability to walk and stand for extended periods without difficulty.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs, including days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Help create a fun-filled, entertaining, and exciting environment through excellent service delivery.
• Assist with sorting, counting, and recording currency in the Count Room.
• Record cash drops and sign documentation confirming the accuracy of figures.
• Verify documentation removed from drop boxes against worksheet information.
• Comply with State Lottery Regulations and company internal controls.
• Verbalize asset numbers for bill validator cassettes.
• Promote outstanding customer relations.
• Promote honesty and trust among team members.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
