About The Position

The Count Attendant is responsible for all aspects of the drop and count processes for Table Games and gaming machines. The role ensures compliance with applicable Gaming Commission requirements, federal and state laws governing monetary transactions, and company policies, procedures, and controls. The position operates and troubleshoots counting equipment, handles and transports currency and chips, and maintains the accuracy and integrity of count transactions and related paperwork. The attendant must develop working knowledge of the equipment, software, and hardware used for count-team duties within 90 days.

Requirements

High school diploma.
Must be able to operate a 10-key adding machine efficiently and accurately.
Must be able to perform basic math computations accurately.
Must be computer literate.
Must be able to follow oral and written instructions.
Must pass applicable tests.
Must be at least 18 years old and available for all shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Must be eligible to work in the United States.
Must pass a drug test and background check for an Arizona Gaming License.
Must adhere to Cliff Castle Casino Hotel policies and procedures.
Must be committed to providing exceptional guest service.

Responsibilities

Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot equipment used to count coins and currency.
Remove bill validator cans from slot machines, replace them with empty cans, and place the cans into carts.
Transport money to the Count Room.
Count, verify, and strap currency.
Transfer currency and chips to the Vault.
Ensure the integrity, accuracy, and thoroughness of count transactions and applicable paperwork.
Keep the Count Supervisor informed about count activities and irregularities.
Develop working knowledge of the equipment, software, and hardware necessary for count-team duties within 90 days.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Provide welcoming, friendly, and professional guest service, aiming to exceed guest expectations through attentive, personalized service and prompt responses and resolution.
