About The Position

This position focuses on providing therapeutic cosmetology services that support patient wellbeing. Work directly contributes to health, comfort, and confidence during their long-term care experience. As a Cosmetologist 1, you will perform the following duties: Patient Assessment: Evaluate each person’s hair, head, and scalp; report conditions that require medical and hygienic monitoring Beauty Services: Provide haircuts, permanent waives, relaxers, coloring, facials, manicures, and scalp, hair, and other treatments Shop Operations: Ensure Beauty Shop work follows all state rules, regulations, and standards for licensing and sanitation, and all facility policies and procedures Appointment Records: Answer the phone, communicate messages, and keep daily records of all services provided Care Collaboration: Work with nurses and other employees to support consistent patient care and maintain a sympathetic attitude toward all patients

Requirements

• Possess a license as a Cosmetologist as issued by the Pennsylvania State Board of Cosmetology.
• Meet the PA residency requirement.
• Be able to perform essential job functions.
• Satisfactory criminal history reports, including but not limited to, PA State Police and FBI clearance.
